International and domestic partnerships between Educational, Research institutions and private companies are beneficial to all, from the staff, researchers, students, and academics. At a time in which forming those links has perhaps never been simpler, it has also never been more necessary. These relationships have long been a mainstay of educational and corporate research and development, from creating the knowledge foundations for the next generation of solutions, to serving as an extended “area” to solve short-term, incremental problems, to providing a flow of newly minted talent. The rate of internationalisation is growing rapidly, with unhindered communication channels and inexpensive travel. Educational and Research institutions from around the world are already seeking to make the most of the possibilities this presents by forming global partnerships and fostering relationships with other institutions. This new era of cooperation goes further than simple agreements between institutions to share back-office operations or cross-list academic courses that often result in good publicity and not much else. Collaboration in this new era involves colleges and universities coming together as seemingly one institution to change their future direction . How researchers, academics and students benefit. About 20 percent of the world’s scientific papers are internationally co-authored. The advancement in communication and virtual meeting possibilities as well as the cheaper international travel, academics and researchers are finding it a lot easier to collaborate and share ideas with their foreign counterparts, making the exchange of academic ideas much simpler to organize. The ability to analyse, discuss, and share experience is of vital importance for academic and scientific accomplishment. Challenging accepted opinions and ideas is essential to the improvement in our knowledge. Domestic and foreign collaborations help to facilitate this. Our Partners For this reason, Pro Deo International has entered into a number of agreements with a good number of universities, colleges as well as partnered with Labs and industry to advance the research department of Pro Deo as well as to give researchers, academics and students the possibility to work with others in their field of study. We have also partnered with private laboratories and industry as we feel that this allows further transfer of knowledge and ideas. We always welcome further collaboration with new academic and industrial partners. Should you be interested in partnering with us please do not hesitate to get in contact with us on admin@pdiu.eu
